Today we welcomed who was here to present Zoe in Yr 5 with a prize for winning "Litter Angels anti-litter poster competition" Zoe won a goodie bag for herself & £100 for the school. You can find Zoe's poster displayed in McDonalds in Tonbridge.  Well done Zoe

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team at the Valley Invicta Primary School at Leybourne Chase.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teaching assistant within our specialist resource provision (SRP) for autistic children. Pupils within the SRP are valued members of both their mainstream class and the SRP and each child has a personalised timetable setting out when they will be based within the SRP and when they will access mainstream lessons. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, has excellent communication skills and is a good team player.  This is a temporary appointment, 32.5 hours per week on a term time only basis (38 weeks per year). 

We have an established, strong curriculum that is well-resourced. This is supplemented by a fantastic learning environment with fantastic outdoor spaces.

We are looking for a skilled practitioner who can:

  • Exhibit the Leybourne Chase Core Values in their professional behaviours.
  • Be an excellent role model for teaching and learning
  • Support children to complete their learning, both within the specialist resource provision and in their mainstream classes.
  • Work on both a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Liaise with external therapists and other professionals
  • Lead the delivery of specific learning objectives and activities, adjusting them to meet the requirements of individual or groups of pupils following support from the class teacher.
  • To build and maintain positive and constructive working relationships with pupils, families and colleagues, to maximise children’s development and maintain the overall ethos and vision of the school.
